Recent Site Updates/Additions:

For over 30 years Oadby Golf Course has sat in its unique position, with 9 of the 18 holes played in the middle of Leicester Racecourse. The Par 72 course is municipal, run by Oadby & Wigston Borough Council, and the course and club welcome players of all ages and abilities. With current offers running on Green Fee prices, you can play 18 holes of golf for as little as £10 in the week or £12 at weekends. There will be a new price list released on April 1st 2010 which will be published on the website when it is available. More information on each hole can be found in 'The Course' section.

The Golf Club itself is run by the members, of which there are currently around 200. There are a large number of competitions throughout the year, and a number of GOLD LETTER competitions in which you can get your name on the honours board in the clubhouse. The club also offers a fantastic Winter League every year, which is one of the biggest competitions of the year. The club also has a new teaching professional employed, so if you are new to golf and are looking to start playing, Oadby would be the perfect place for you. The clubhouse also has fantastic facilites, with two televisions complete with Sky, including SkySports and ESPN, broadcasting all of the big sporting fixtures throughout the year. There is a full bar complete with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks all at good prices. Food is served throughout the day every day, so whether it is a breakfast or a main meal you are after, you can be catered for. The clubhouse also has a pool table and a touch screen games machine, and there is also a full size snooker table which is available to use for £1 every 22 minutes. If you are looking to play snooker you are advised to book the table. The clubhouse is also available to hire out for private functions, and it is available to be used by members of the club and non-members. Everybody is welcome.
