10th Hole

The Tee Shot

This is the first non par 4 hole of the course, and it is a fairly straightforward par 3, with normally only a wedge required to reach the green. There is a ditch which is about 30-40 yards short of the green. This ditch does run around and run parreller to the green on the left hand side, but it is a good distance awy from the green on the left that it does not really come into play, unless there is a strong right to left wind. There are also two bunkers guarding the green, one on the left and one on the right. These bunkers are well placed and will catch out a shot that is hit slightly offline. If you miss the green short you will not have too difficult a chip, but missing the green anywhere else could lead to a very difficult chip, depending on the position of the flag.

The Green

This green sits in a semi-bowl, with most putts all breaking into the middle of the green. It is a very tricky green to btoh read and to putt on, due to the large slopes and the large breaking putts. If you hit the green and you are a good distance away from the flag, a two putt par is good. Missing the green long in the summer will mean a good putt will have to be holed for three, especially if the flag is at the back. This green gets firm and fast, which makes the green even harder.
