15th Hole

The Tee Shot

The first par 5 on the course is a good birdie chance if you hit the fairway, although if you find some of the trouble that is on the hole, you can easily rack up a 7 or worse. There is out of bounds which runs all the way down the left, and the path is once again the marker for this out of bounds. On the path means a free drop off, but over the path means you will have to reload again. There is also a ditch which runs down the right of the hole. The ditch runs from level with the 14th tee, and it runs all the way up past the green, only stopping for the second ditch. Before this ditch starts there is a small copse of trees, which a slice off the tee can find. Normally you will have to drop out of this copse. The ditch and the out of bounds are the only real problems off the tee, and the space between them is that wide that they should not come into play for the lower handicapper, although that is not how golf works.
The Second Shot
The second shot contains the hazards that were there for the tee shot, but the second shot can leave a tough decision. Do you go over the second ditch or do you lay up short. The second ditch is roughly 120 yards away from the green, so sometimes you are not sure whether or not to lay up. If you can get over the water it is a much better choice, due to the fact that the next shot will be made much easier. Normally if you are playing your second shot out the rough it is a better option to lay up. The rough can get quite thick on this hole, so hitting a 3 wood out of the rough is normally not the best option, depending on the lie.
The Approach
When approaching the green you will need to avoid the bunkers that surround the green. There is one bunker on the right and two on the left. All of these contain quite steep lips, and while not to difficult to escape, getting the ball close is not easy. Other than these bunkers there is a lot of space to miss the green that will not leave you with to difficult a chip. If into win make sure to take one more club, the shot looks shorter than it is.
The Green
The green is not to tricky, although everything slopes from the back to the front. There are some tricky ridges where the bunkers sit, but the flag is rarely placed near these. The green does also tend to slope from the left to the right as you approach it in addition to the back to front. The putts you have will never move a great deal, although if you have a putt from the back of the green it will normally be fast coming down the slope.
